Liverpool, United Kingdom, October 2025 — Caroline Bate has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Aurorium, marking the next chapter in her distinguished career in human resources leadership. She brings over two decades of expertise in people strategy, business transformation, and organizational development.
Bate has been an integral part of Aurorium since 2018, serving most recently as Vice President Human Resources. In this role, she was instrumental in shaping business strategy, leading HR transformation, driving acquisition integration, and developing workforce planning models to support sustainable growth. Her leadership has been central to strengthening the organization’s people agenda globally.
Before this, she held senior HR leadership roles at Vertellus, where she served as Vice President Human Resources, Global Human Resources Director, and European Human Resources Director. During this tenure, she led global HR initiatives, reinforced cultural alignment across geographies, and implemented strategic programs to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
Earlier in her career, Bate was HR Manager at Adient and Johnson Controls, where she led high-performance talent development, organizational change, and engagement strategies, including strong collaboration with trade unions and senior leadership teams. Her decade-long tenure at Jaguar Land Rover as Human Resources Manager further enriched her experience, where she earned recognition as the “Most Inspirational Leader” on the Dale Carnegie Leadership programme. She began her professional journey with Alfred McAlpine on a commercial and operational management scheme with an HR focus.
With this extensive experience spanning industrial, automotive, and specialty materials sectors, Bate is poised to lead Aurorium’s people function with resilience, vision, and strategic impact, helping the company deliver on its mission of enabling life-improving products worldwide.
