Johannesburg, South Africa, October 2025 – Lindiwe Miyambu has been appointed as Chief People and Marketing Officer at AfroCentric Group. In this new role, she will lead the Group’s people strategy and marketing initiatives, aligning human capital development with brand engagement to further strengthen AfroCentric’s position as Southern Africa’s most diversified healthcare company.
Lindiwe most recently served as Chief People Officer at the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) for more than two years, where she championed a people-first culture, talent development, and strategic alignment of human capital with the AGSA’s mission. She played a pivotal role in transformation, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, and organizational growth initiatives.
Prior to that, she spent over 12 years at African Bank as Group Executive – Human Capital, where she drove end-to-end HR strategy, employee wellness, leadership development, diversity, and transformation. She also served as a member of the Group Executive Team and contributed to Remuneration Committee decisions.
Earlier in her career, Lindiwe was Head of Human Resources for Property Finance at Nedbank, where she oversaw the full HR value chain and led strategic HR initiatives. She also worked with the World Bank as a Consultant (Team Learning Coach) for Africa, facilitating country assistance strategies, retreats, and capacity-building initiatives across multiple African nations.
Her career reflects over two decades of leadership in human capital, organizational transformation, and business strategy, making her a strong fit for her new dual role at AfroCentric Group.
