Toronto, Ontario, Canada, October 2025 – Court Elliott has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer at Navacord, one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing insurance brokerages. In his new role, Elliott will work with the executive team to shape strategic marketing, communications, and brand initiatives, leading a high-performing team to strengthen Navacord’s market position, elevate client engagement, and drive business growth.
Court Elliott most recently served as Vice President of Marketing at AGF Investments, where he led innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning and drive client-focused initiatives in the financial services sector. His tenure at AGF Investments helped establish stronger engagement models for clients and investors across Canada.
Prior to this, Elliott was the Senior Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs at Aviva Canada, a leading global P&C insurance company. In this role, he managed a large team responsible for communications, marketing, social media, corporate affairs, employee communications, and government relations, further strengthening Aviva’s industry presence.
Earlier, Elliott spent eight years at IGM Financial Inc. as Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Community Engagement, where he oversaw communications and marketing across IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments. He built and led a high-performing team of 25, implemented thought leadership and sponsorship initiatives, and managed three agency relationships to position IGM as an industry leader.
He also held leadership positions at GE as Director of Communications & Public Affairs, managing stakeholder relations and media events across healthcare, aviation, and energy, and at Philips as Director of Communications, driving brand visibility during its transformation into a global health and well-being leader. His earlier career included a leadership role at Bell Canada as Associate Director of Communications, where he executed communications strategies across multiple business verticals.
