New York, United States, October 2025 — Abigail Mason Woodworth has been appointed as Chief People and Impact Officer at Branching Minds, where she will lead the company’s people strategy, culture initiatives, and organizational impact functions.
Abigail has been with Branching Minds for over three years, most recently serving as Chief of Staff, where she was instrumental in aligning strategic priorities and strengthening operational effectiveness across the company. Before that, she was Vice President of Communications, leading key engagement and organizational messaging efforts.
Prior to Branching Minds, Abigail was Vice President of External Affairs at the Legal Action Center in New York, where she directed strategy, advocacy, and communications for nearly six years, advancing initiatives focused on equity and public policy reform.
She also served as Vice President of Public Affairs and Strategic Development at the Treatment Research Institute in Philadelphia, where she played a pivotal role in expanding organizational influence and building strategic partnerships.
Earlier in her career, Abigail held leadership roles at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where she was Associate Director for Marketing, Development, and Strategic Planning, and at Johns Hopkins University, where she worked as Senior Administrative Manager. She also co-founded and served as Vice President of Rising Phoenix Creative Collaboration, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to leadership.
