Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 – Reliance Foundation has appointed Suman Singh as its Vice President & Head – HR. In her new role, Suman will lead the Foundation’s human resources function, focusing on strengthening organizational culture, leadership capability, and talent transformation to support the Foundation’s mission of creating inclusive and sustainable development across India
Suman joins Reliance Foundation after an impactful three years and ten months at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she served as Vice President – Human Resources (Technology and IT). She played a pivotal role as a strategic HR business partner to leadership teams, driving transformation through people strategies, future skills development, and organizational effectiveness. Her leadership in change management, culture building, and workforce mobility significantly contributed to the company’s digital transformation journey.
Before Vodafone Idea, Suman spent nearly nine years with Reliance Industries Limited, where she held multiple HR leadership roles across diverse verticals, including Manufacturing Technology CoE, Research & Development, and Petrochemicals. During her tenure, she drove initiatives in talent management, succession planning, inclusion, and capability building, strengthening the internal leadership pipeline. Her tenure at Reliance Industries was marked by her strong focus on aligning HR strategies with business imperatives and fostering a culture of performance and continuous learning.
Earlier in her career, Suman gained extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and policy development during her five-year tenure at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., where she progressed from Management Trainee to Deputy Manager. She spearheaded workforce planning, lateral hiring, and engagement frameworks across multiple zones in India, enhancing operational efficiency and building leadership capability across business units.
Suman holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Human Resources Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. Her academic background, coupled with her extensive experience across telecom, insurance, and energy sectors, positions her well to lead the HR agenda at Reliance Foundation.
