Columbia, Maryland, USA, October 2025 — Amanda DeBoy-Lund, MS has taken on the role of Vice President, Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Atlantic Union Bank. Following the merger of Sandy Spring Bank and Atlantic Union Bank, she continues her leadership in HR partnership, driving people strategy while supporting the bank’s commitment to clients and communities.
Amanda brings over 18 years of experience across human resources, employee relations, and organizational development. At Sandy Spring Bank, she served for more than 12 years in progressive HR leadership roles, most recently as Vice President, Senior HR Business Partner. She was instrumental in building HR frameworks that enhanced employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and operational excellence.
Prior to Sandy Spring Bank, Amanda held roles with the Comptroller of Maryland, where she supported workforce strategy and organizational processes, and at the Maryland Food Bank, where she served as Event Coordinator, advancing community engagement programs. Earlier in her career, she worked at RBC Wealth Management/Ferris Baker Watts, Inc. as Marketing Coordinator, strengthening her cross-functional expertise in communication and operations.
With her proven ability to align HR strategy with business outcomes, Amanda is set to further strengthen Atlantic Union Bank’s people agenda during a pivotal period of growth and transformation.
