London, United Kingdom, October 2025 — John Lewis & Partners has announced the appointment of Anna Milne as Director of Merchandising. With an impressive career spanning nearly two decades in luxury retail, e-commerce, and fashion merchandising, Anna brings a deep understanding of strategic buying, product curation, and customer-centric innovation. Before joining John Lewis & Partners, Anna served as Merchandising Director at NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER, where she spent more than three years leading global merchandising strategy across luxury fashion, accessories, and lifestyle categories. She played a key role in strengthening the brand’s international positioning and aligning merchandising decisions with customer insights and digital commerce trends.

Earlier, Anna held several leadership roles at THE OUTNET.COM, where over seven years she rose through positions including Head of Merchandising, Merchandising Manager, and Senior Merchandiser. She was instrumental in expanding the platform’s global assortment strategy, streamlining buying operations, and optimizing inventory through data-driven insights, helping the brand achieve significant growth and customer retention.

Prior to her tenure at THE OUTNET.COM, Anna worked with Jules B as Group Merchandiser and at ASOS.com for nearly four years, progressing through roles from Assistant Merchandiser to Merchandiser. Her early career at House of Fraser provided a strong foundation in retail merchandising, assortment management, and consumer behaviour—skills that have shaped her strategic approach to omnichannel retail today.

Armed with a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies and Psychology from Aston University, Anna Milne’s appointment underlines John Lewis & Partners’ commitment to combining data-driven retail intelligence with creativity and customer-first thinking. Her leadership is expected to further strengthen the company’s market positioning as it continues to evolve its product portfolio and deliver exceptional experiences to customers nationwide.
