Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, August 2024 — Sandeep Agrawal has joined Manorama Industries Limited as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With a distinguished career in operations, leadership, and continuous improvement, Sandeep is poised to lead the company’s operational strategies and drive its continued success in the global market.
Sandeep Agrawal most recently served as Factory Manager at Britannia Industries Limited from February 2020 to July 2024. During his tenure, he led the Guwahati plant with a focus on continuous improvement, leadership, and operational excellence, contributing to the company’s strong manufacturing capabilities.
Prior to his role at Britannia, Sandeep was the Plant Head at Bunge from June 2018 to February 2020. In this position, he oversaw the Kandla plant’s operations and implemented lean manufacturing practices, enhancing the plant’s overall efficiency and performance.
Sandeep also held the position of National Manufacturing Excellence Manager at Bunge, where he was responsible for driving plant reliability and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Sandeep worked with Vedanta Resources Limited as the Head of Business Excellence and Asset Optimization. Over a span of 12 years, he held various roles in maintenance, operations, projects, and asset optimization, demonstrating his expertise in organizational leadership and operational requirements.
