This marks a significant milestone in Al Ali’s nearly two-decade-long journey with the bank, during which he has demonstrated consistent leadership, innovation, and commitment to developing people and driving transformation within the organization.
Al Ali began his career at RAKBANK as a young professional eager to learn, grow, and make a difference. Prior to his new role, he served as Executive Vice President and Group Head of HR, overseeing four Centers of Excellence — Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Emiratisation, and Talent Management — while also acting as CHRO for RAK Insurance.
During his tenure, Al Ali has been instrumental in embedding a people-first culture at RAKBANK. As Head of Digital Learning, he spearheaded the modernization of learning frameworks, leveraging technology to strengthen employee engagement and leadership development. Earlier, as Head of Emiratisation, he led impactful initiatives to nurture Emirati talent across all levels, contributing to the bank’s position as a leader in national workforce development.
Before transitioning to HR leadership, Al Ali built a strong foundation in business and customer service through his roles as Branch Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Senior Customer Service Officer, where he played a key role in enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. His journey is a reflection of RAKBANK’s belief in nurturing internal talent and empowering leaders from within.
Al Ali holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Atlanta. With over 19 years at RAKBANK, his appointment as Group CHRO underscores both his personal leadership journey and the bank’s commitment to purpose-driven growth, inclusion, and continuous learning.
