Reston, Virginia, United States, October 2025 – SAIC® (Science Applications International Corporation), a Fortune 500 mission integrator specializing in defense, space, and intelligence solutions, has announced the appointment of Deborah Torosian as Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer. In this role, Deborah will lead the company’s global talent and people strategy, focusing on organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and workforce innovation to support SAIC’s mission of advancing technology and protecting the world.
Deborah Torosian brings over 20 years of HR and organizational effectiveness leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies, combining deep expertise in talent management, learning, analytics, and large-scale transformation.
Prior to joining SAIC, she served as Vice President and Global Head of Talent at Conduent, where she led the company’s global Talent Center of Excellence. Her role encompassed Talent Management, Learning & Development, People Analytics, Organizational Effectiveness, Executive Recruiting, and HR M&A integration, in addition to HR Business Partner leadership for enterprise functions. Deborah was instrumental in driving talent transformation and leadership capability initiatives that strengthened Conduent’s global workforce performance.
Before Conduent, Deborah spent more than nine years at American Express, where she rose to the role of Vice President and Head of Organizational Effectiveness. There, she led enterprise-wide programs in leadership development, high-performance team effectiveness, and organizational design. Her earlier tenure as Director of Organizational Effectiveness at American Express positioned her as a key architect of change strategies supporting major structural and cultural evolution.
Earlier in her career, Deborah spent over six years at Citigroup, where she held multiple leadership roles including Organization Effectiveness Practice Leader, Organization Development Manager, and Associate Manager – Organizational Effectiveness. She was responsible for shaping organization design and development initiatives across global business units.
Her foundational HR experience was built through roles at Sears Holdings Corporation, Colgate-Palmolive, and Citigroup, where she worked in talent management, compensation, and staffing functions. These early experiences honed her expertise in performance management, workforce planning, and leadership coaching—skills that have continued to define her career trajectory.
