London, England, United Kingdom, October 2025 – Aviva, a leading insurance, wealth, and retirement business, has announced the appointment of Loveleen G. as its new Head of People. Loveleen G. brings over two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across financial services, insurance, and energy sectors. Her career reflects a blend of strategic partnership, organizational transformation, and a deep commitment to building strong, people-centric workplaces.

Before joining Aviva, Loveleen spent eight years at AXA XL, where she held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Global Human Resources Business Partner. As Senior HRBP, she led a team supporting more than 850 employees across the UK and matrix functions, working closely with senior leaders—including the Chief Claims Officer, CFO, and COO—to drive people and performance strategies across the business. Her work focused on talent identification, succession planning, and employee engagement, while aligning global HR initiatives with local business goals.

Earlier at AXA XL, as Global HR Business Partner, Loveleen partnered with executive directors to deliver HR strategy across regions spanning the UK, USA, EMEA, LATAM, and Asia Pacific. She played a key role in integrating global functions post-merger, designing target operating models, and driving alignment across countries. Her leadership was pivotal in enabling synergy delivery, managing complex organizational change, and embedding diversity and inclusion in HR practices worldwide.

Before AXA XL, Loveleen was an HR Consultant at RSA, where she supported over 2,000 employees through large-scale transformation projects, including capability uplift and workforce restructuring. She developed analytics-driven tools for headcount forecasting and led initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, reward benchmarking, and attrition management.

Earlier in her career, Loveleen held leadership roles in both public and private sectors, including HR Business Partner at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where she managed HR operations for over 1,000 employees and led workforce planning, policy development, and organizational redesign. Prior to that, she was HR Advisor at BP, supporting finance teams across the UK and US in complex reorganizations, succession planning, and capability building. She began her career as a Consultant at REED, specializing in assessment design and psychometric testing for top-tier clients in banking and telecommunications.
