With over 15 years of rich experience spanning logistics, maritime operations, and financial management, Praful has played a pivotal role in reinforcing Lancer’s global logistics network and driving its diversified service portfolio.
In his journey at Lancer Container Lines Ltd, Praful held the role of Executive Director from February 2020 to October 2025, and earlier served as Vice President. He has been instrumental in shaping Lancer’s expansion across NVOCC, container trading, freight forwarding, and shipping, with a focus on strategic global partnerships and operational excellence. His elevation to Managing Director reflects his leadership impact and the company’s vision for accelerated global growth.
Beyond his core responsibilities at Lancer, Praful holds directorships across Bulkliner Logistics Ltd, Lancer Foundation, CIS Connect Global Logistics Pvt Ltd, KMS Maritime India Pvt Ltd, WorldWide Container Trading Pvt Ltd, Globepoint Multimodal Logistics Pvt Ltd, and LCM Projects Pvt Ltd—testament to his deep involvement in India’s logistics and maritime sectors. His multi-faceted leadership continues to shape integrated supply chain ecosystems in India and abroad.
Earlier in his career, Praful served as Associate Vice President at Reliance – ADA Group Limited, where he specialized in solutions for HNIs and corporate clientele across equities, commodities, and structured products. He then led asset management and equity research efforts as Associate Vice President at Fort Capital, the asset management arm of the BP Wealth Group.
His earlier roles include leadership positions at Phillip Commodities India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the PhillipCapital Group, and ADM Investor Services, part of Archer Daniels Midland Company, where he managed financial risk strategies and client solutions. He also worked at Transmarket Group Research India Pvt. Ltd. as Associate Trader, and began his professional journey as Research Assistant on energy and investment-focused projects before training in audit and taxation at M/s M.J & Co., a Chartered Accountancy firm.
