Kumar Saminathan Subramanian brings with him nearly two decades of leadership experience at Axis Bank, where he has held a variety of senior positions across wholesale banking operations, process design, and risk management. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – Zonal Head, South 2, leading wholesale banking operations with a focus on strategic process alignment and risk governance.
Prior to that, Kumar served as Senior Vice President I – Head, Process Design and Solutions, where he played a pivotal role in operational transformation and efficiency optimization at the corporate level. His earlier roles at Axis Bank include Vice President – Head, Process Design and Solutions, AVP in Corporate Banking Operations, and Manager, General Banking Operations. Over his 19-year tenure at Axis Bank, Kumar has been recognized for his exceptional expertise in credit operations, risk management, SME banking, and process innovation.
Before joining Axis Bank, he began his professional journey as a Commercial Controller Trainee at Madras Aluminium Company Ltd., where he developed a strong foundation in financial control and business operations.
