Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, November 2025 — Ihab Elghonimi has taken on the role of Group Chief Business Officer at Cambridge Health Group, marking a significant milestone in his accomplished healthcare leadership career. In this capacity, he will lead group-wide business strategy, innovation, and growth across the UAE and KSA, supporting Cambridge Health’s mission to redefine post-acute care through measurable outcomes, sustainable expansion, and partnerships that enhance public health.
Prior to this appointment, Ihab served as Group Chief Business Officer at Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center (CMRC) for nearly four years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving performance, investment decisions, and corporate strategy, contributing to CMRC’s strong reputation for clinical excellence and expansion across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Before that, he was Group Business Development, Marketing and Communications Director at CMRC, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives across business development, brand management, and market penetration. Under his leadership, the organization strengthened its market presence and operational efficiency, establishing new partnerships and aligning commercial planning with corporate objectives.
Earlier in his career at CMRC, Ihab served as Business Development Director, UAE, where he led market expansion and strategic partnerships with key healthcare authorities including DOH, MOHAP, DHA, CCAD, and SEHA. His strategic engagement and relationship-building with governmental and private sector stakeholders significantly enhanced CMRC’s growth trajectory.
Before joining CMRC, Ihab held leadership positions in the healthcare sector, including Business Development Manager at Fakih IVF Fertility Center, where he managed patient acquisition and access strategies across the UAE and Oman. Earlier, he served in commercial and key account management roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, and Sanofi, where he gained extensive experience in customer engagement, financial performance, and market strategy.
Ihab Elghonimi is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from London Business School (2024–2026) and is an alumnus of INSEAD’s Advanced Management Program (2021).
