India, June 2026 — Accenture has promoted Rakhi Madaan to the position of Managing Director. Madaan has been associated with Accenture for nearly 15 years and has built an impressive leadership journey across technology, software engineering, digital transformation, and enterprise delivery management. Over the years, she has played a significant role in driving large-scale technology initiatives, strengthening engineering excellence, and leading high-performing teams across multiple business functions.
Prior to her elevation as Managing Director, she served as Associate Director at Accenture from November 2022 to June 2026. Earlier, she held the role of Vice President – Technology, where she contributed to strategic technology leadership and digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
Her progression within Accenture also includes leadership positions as Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Associate Manager, and Software Engineer Team Lead, reflecting a steady and impactful growth journey within the organization. Through these roles, she gained extensive expertise in software engineering, delivery management, enterprise technology solutions, and team leadership.
Before joining Accenture, Madaan worked with SAIC for more than seven years, where she served as Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. During this period, she developed strong technical and leadership capabilities while contributing to complex software engineering and enterprise technology projects.
Earlier in her career, she also worked with NIIT Technologies and MPS Software Pvt. Ltd., building foundational expertise in software development and technology delivery.
With over 25 years of experience in technology and engineering leadership, Madaan’s elevation to Managing Director highlights her strong contribution to Accenture’s growth and its technology transformation initiatives. She is expected to continue driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic client success in her expanded leadership role.
