In her new role, Rachel will lead the organization’s global talent acquisition strategy across multiple markets, enhancing its recruitment capabilities, digital infrastructure, and workforce planning to support IG Group’s rapid global growth and commitment to excellence.
Rachel joins IG Group with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in global talent acquisition and strategic workforce planning across financial services, fintech, and professional sectors. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Strategic Workforce Planning at Ricardo plc, where she designed and implemented a high-performance talent acquisition function that aligned recruitment with long-term business goals. Her leadership emphasized digital transformation, measurable performance metrics, and proactive talent pipelining to strengthen organizational agility and scalability.
Before that, Rachel was Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at RS Group plc, where she led global resourcing and employer branding initiatives, driving transformation across regions. She also held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition, EMEA at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), where she managed end-to-end executive hiring, workforce planning, and resourcing strategy across a complex multinational matrix.
Her earlier leadership experience includes serving as Global Head of Resourcing at TP ICAP, where she oversaw recruitment across 31 countries, encompassing both front and back-office hiring. Rachel spearheaded the group’s global resourcing model redesign, optimizing efficiency and embedding an innovative early careers program to strengthen the firm’s long-term talent pipeline.
Throughout her career, Rachel has contributed to major organizational transformation initiatives at BAE Systems, Barclays, Pearson, and Aviva Investors, leading large-scale talent programs across EMEA and APAC. She began her career with Alexander Mann Solutions and Allegis Talent2, where she gained extensive regional experience in recruitment delivery, project leadership, and workforce development across global financial institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank, RBS, and Credit Suisse.
