With a distinguished career of over three decades at the State Bank of India (SBI), Bhuvaneshwari has held several strategic and operational leadership roles across the Group. Most recently, she served as Chief General Manager, where she led the retail banking business and statewide operations across Kerala, driving performance, network growth, and service excellence. Prior to this, she played a pivotal role in spearheading branch and network redesign initiatives at the Corporate Centre in Mumbai, contributing to SBI’s broader digital and transformation agenda focused on agility, scale, and customer experience.
Earlier in her career, she held key leadership roles including General Manager (Redesign Studio) and Deputy General Manager (Key Projects Strategy), where she was instrumental in operational optimization, channel effectiveness, and strategic project rollouts. Her deep understanding of the SBI Group’s ecosystem positions her strongly to lead SBI Securities through its next stage of expansion.
