Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, October 2024 – Experian has announced the promotion of Anmarie Forrester to Chief Human Resources Officer A/NZ. In this elevated role, Anmarie will oversee the strategic direction of human resources across Australia and New Zealand, leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational culture. She will continue to drive HR excellence as a key member of the leadership team, ensuring that HR practices align with the company’s growth objectives in the region.
Anmarie brings extensive experience to her new position, having served as Regional Human Resources Director, APac at Experian for nearly four years. In this role, she led HR operations across the Asia-Pacific region, contributing significantly to the company’s HR transformation and talent development strategies.
Prior to this, she was HR Director for Australia & New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea at Experian, where she developed and implemented people strategies that supported the company’s business objectives across multiple countries. During her 3.5-year tenure, she focused on workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership development.
Before joining Experian, Anmarie held several leadership positions at Westpac, including Head of Human Resources for St George Retail and Head of Human Resources for Premium, Small Business Banking, and Mortgage Broker Distribution, where she provided strategic HR support to critical business units, driving performance and people development.
Anmarie’s early career also includes roles at BT Financial Group, Honeywell, and Telstra, where she honed her expertise in HR management, talent development, and organizational change.
