Proven technology executive will oversee enterprise architecture and strategy as Company expands globally
Vancouver, British Columbia, November, 2025 – Village Farms International, Inc. (“Village Farms” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: VFF) has announced the appointment of Brian Ellis as its Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO). In this newly created leadership role, Ellis will oversee the Company’s enterprise architecture and IT strategy as Village Farms continues to advance its global growth and transformation initiatives.
Brian Ellis joins Village Farms with over 25 years of information technology experience spanning multiple industries, including consumer goods, e-commerce, travel and hospitality, and government. He has successfully led large-scale digital transformation programs in both private and public organizations and has previously held leadership roles at Nike, Topgolf Callaway, and Booking.com.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Ellis honorably served during Operation Desert Storm, received the Navy Achievement Medal, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Cum Laude) from Saint Mary’s College in California.

In the United States, Balanced Health Botanicals, a wholly owned subsidiary, stands among the country’s leading CBD and hemp-derived brands and e-commerce platforms. Subject to U.S. federal and state regulations, the Company plans to expand into the THC market leveraging its Texas-based 2.2 million sq. ft. greenhouse facilities and 950 acres of land for future development.
Through Village Farms Clean Energy (VFCE), the Company also partners with Terreva Renewables to generate renewable natural gas from landfill gas at its Delta RNG facility, receiving royalties on all revenue generated.
