Austin, Texas, United States, November 2025 – NovaSource Power Services, the world’s largest independent solar operations and maintenance provider, has appointed Angie McPherson as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. In this pivotal leadership role, Angie will lead global people strategy, workforce development, and organizational transformation as NovaSource continues to expand its renewable energy footprint across the world.
Before joining NovaSource, Angie McPherson served as Vice President – Talent & Training at Patterson-UTI, where she built strategic workforce capabilities by leading talent acquisition, performance management, and professional development programs. She also served as Vice President – HR, Universal Pressure Pumping within the same group, driving workforce engagement, retention, and technical training initiatives that strengthened employee wellbeing and business performance.
Prior to her tenure at Patterson-UTI, Angie spent nearly 16 years at Baker Hughes, holding diverse leadership roles including Human Resources Executive, Business Transformation HR Leader, and Global HR Executive. During her tenure, she spearheaded large-scale organizational restructuring, global workforce planning, and leadership development programs, enabling operational excellence and achieving multimillion-dollar productivity gains. Her work emphasized data-driven decision-making and cultural transformation.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership positions with Memorial Hermann Health System, Advantica, HCA Healthcare, and Aerotek, where she built strong foundations in HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement. Her wide-ranging experience across industries gives her a unique perspective on aligning people strategy with organizational growth.
