With over three decades of leadership experience spanning media, entertainment, and FMCG sectors, Punit Misra has built a distinguished career marked by scale, transformation, and impact. His leadership philosophy centers on strategic clarity, value creation, and purpose-driven growth — aligning seamlessly with Allcargo’s institutional ethos of governance, innovation, and global excellence.
Before joining Allcargo Group, Punit Misra was associated with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., where he served in multiple CXO capacities, including President – Content (Broadcast & Zee5 Digital), CEO – India Broadcast Business, and President – International Business. Under his leadership, Zee’s broadcast and digital ecosystem achieved new heights, expanding its presence to over 160 global markets and strengthening its leadership in Indian entertainment.
Earlier, Punit spent over two decades with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he rose to the position of Executive Director and Vice President – Customer Development (India & South Asia). During this tenure, he led one of India’s largest FMCG sales teams, driving sustainable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and spearheading Unilever’s Global Route-to-Market and Traditional Trade Strategy initiatives.
At HUL, he also served as General Manager – Sales & Marketing (Ice Cream Division) and Category Director – South Asia, overseeing some of India’s most iconic brands, including Lux, Lifebuoy, Dove, and Rin, while building the foundations of Unilever’s consumer and trade innovation capabilities.
An alumnus of IIT Roorkee and XLRI Jamshedpur, Punit brings strategic depth, operational acumen, and a strong global perspective to his new role.
At Allcargo Group, Punit will work closely with the CEOs, MDs, and CXOs across group companies, driving strategic alignment, governance excellence, and business transformation as the Group continues to expand its global footprint. His leadership is expected to strengthen execution, sharpen value creation, and reinforce Allcargo’s long-term institutional resilience.
