Since joining Daimler in 1997, Torsten has held several key leadership positions across the company’s international operations, shaping business performance and driving transformation across divisions. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Mercedes-Benz Caminhões e Ônibus in Brazil, where he oversaw the organization’s financial operations, strategic planning, and performance management, contributing to its strong market presence in Latin America.

Prior to this, he held multiple senior roles at Daimler Truck Asia, including Financial Director and Director – Finance Controlling, where he led business finance and performance management for R&D, Products, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service. His earlier experience at Daimler Truck AG in Germany spanned leadership roles such as Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to the CEO of Daimler Trucks & Buses, Head of FP&A for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, and Director Finance Controlling for global operations.

Torsten’s tenure also includes his role as Chief Financial Officer at Mercedes-Benz India, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance and driving business growth during a key expansion phase in the Indian market. His long-standing association with Daimler has equipped him with a global perspective on commercial vehicle strategy, operational excellence, and financial leadership, making him well-positioned to steer DICV through its next chapter of growth and innovation.

As he takes on this new leadership role, Torsten is expected to continue DICV’s journey of driving performance, expanding product innovation, and enhancing operational synergies within the Daimler Truck global network.
