Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Castrol India Limited, one of the country’s leading lubricants brands and a subsidiary of bp PLC, has announced the appointment of Mayank Pandey as Vice-President & Head – B2C Sales. With over 25 years of distinguished cross-sector experience across bp, Castrol, Asian Paints, Tata Strategic Management Group, and Larsen & Toubro, Mayank brings an exceptional blend of strategic, operational, and transformation expertise to his new role.
In his new capacity, Mayank will be responsible for driving the B2C sales strategy, expanding market share, and deepening consumer engagement across Castrol’s retail and distribution channels. His appointment underscores Castrol’s focus on strengthening customer-centric growth, digital capability, and sustainability in the evolving lubricants landscape.
Before this appointment, Mayank served as Vice President – C&P Business & Technology Centre at bp, where he led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and played a key role in establishing bp’s global capability centre in India. His tenure at bp also included pivotal international leadership roles such as Planning Manager – Europe, Transformation Director – BP Lubricants China & North Asia, and Head of North Asia Supply Chain, where he oversaw large-scale operational transformation and multi-country supply chain programs.
At Castrol, Mayank has previously held several strategic leadership positions, including Vice President – Supply Chain for India & South Asia and Board Member at Castrol India, where he was instrumental in advancing the company’s ESG governance, supply chain digitization, and competitive strategy. His earlier career at Asian Paints, Tata Strategic Management Group, and Larsen & Toubro provided him with a solid foundation in manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and strategic consulting, equipping him with a comprehensive view of end-to-end business operations.
