Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 – Abhisek Nag has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at Fornax, bringing his extensive global HR leadership experience across Africa, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and multiple emerging markets. In his new role, he will lead enterprise-wide people strategy, organizational design, capability development and culture-building for the company’s fast-growing integrated business services portfolio.
In his most recent role at NewGlobe, Abhisek spent close to five years shaping the people agenda across multiple countries. He most recently served as Regional Director – People, where he led HR for diverse geographies across Africa and India. He guided a team of six HR Directors, enabling the function to meet business expansion needs, embed strategic HR initiatives globally, and strengthen people systems across the US, UK, Netherlands and multiple African countries.
Before stepping into the regional leadership role, Abhisek also served as Human Resources Director at NewGlobe, contributing to talent management, HRIS modernization, HR transformation and elevating people practices across the organisation.
Earlier, Abhisek spent nearly four and a half years at SDG Corporation, where he served as HR Leader and played a pivotal role in driving the company’s people agenda. His contributions helped scale the organisation profitably, secure Great Place to Work certification for three consecutive years, redesign employee experience journeys, develop talent acquisition strategies and strengthen HR governance and transformation.
Prior to SDG Corporation, Abhisek contributed almost a decade across multiple organisations as an HR Professional, supporting HR Tech transformation, HR M&A and integration, organisation development initiatives, policy frameworks and diversity & inclusion programs. His work helped several companies strengthen their HR fundamentals and scale sustainably.
Abhisek holds a PGDM in Human Resources Management and Services from XLRI Jamshedpur, where he was a Rank Holder, laying the academic foundation for his strategic leadership across people systems, transformation, and global workforce management.
