Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 – Abhisek Nag has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Fornax, where he will lead the organization’s people strategy, capability building, leadership development, and HR transformation initiatives across global operations. In this strategic leadership role, he will support Fornax’s accelerated growth as a data-driven solutions company scaling across multiple markets.
Most recently, Abhisek Nag served for over three years at NewGlobe, first as Human Resources Director and later as Regional Director People, where he led the HR function across multiple countries in Africa and India. He guided a team of six HR Directors and enabled the people function to support large-scale business objectives. His leadership also included driving global HR strategic initiatives across the US, UK, Netherlands, India, and multiple African markets, positioning the organization for sustained growth and people excellence.
Before NewGlobe, he spent more than four years at SDG Corporation, where he led the HR function and played a pivotal role in scaling the organization and making it profitable. Under his leadership, the company was certified Great Place to Work for three consecutive years. He strengthened employee experience through value stream mapping, built a holistic talent acquisition strategy to reduce candidate turnover, and advanced HR transformation initiatives that supported the organization’s growth journey.
Earlier in his career, Abhisek Nag accumulated more than nine years of diverse experience as an HR Professional across multiple organizations. His work included enabling HR M&A and integration, designing and implementing large-scale OD initiatives, drafting policies, implementing HR tech transformations, and crafting Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. This period shaped his expertise in strengthening the HR function across varied business environments.
Across all his roles, he has developed strong capabilities in HR transformation, HRIS, talent management, people leadership, OD & change management, and cross-cultural HR delivery, with a consistent focus on helping organizations scale responsibly and sustainably.
Abhisek Nag completed his PGDM in Human Resources Management and Services from XLRI Jamshedpur, where he was a Rank Holder. His academic grounding at one of India’s most prestigious HR institutions has contributed significantly to his leadership philosophy and strategic thinking.
