Pune, India, November 2025 – Ajay Mishra has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer, Sustainability, EHS and Admin at MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems Private Limited, marking a significant advancement in the company’s people and sustainability leadership. With more than two decades of experience across global organizations and Indian conglomerates, he brings strong expertise in HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, transformational HR practices, and capability-building across large and diverse workforces. His appointment reinforces the organization’s commitment to strengthening its people agenda, governance structures, and sustainability roadmap.
Ajay joins MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems after serving as Group Vice President – Human Resources at ANAND Group India, where he led the HR function across multiple businesses, strengthened workforce planning, advanced talent and succession programs, and introduced scalable people practices for a complex, multi-industry portfolio. His contributions included embedding leadership development, enhancing reward structures, and driving people-centric transformation aligned with ANAND Group’s growth vision.
Before this, Ajay spent nearly nine years at RBS, where he served as Head – Reward, Pension & Benefits Consulting, leading strategic initiatives across workforce planning, leadership development, engagement, performance management, recognition, HR audits, change management, and organization effectiveness. His earlier roles at RBS as VP – Learning & Organizational Development and AVP – Organization Development helped build his deep capability in talent development, culture shaping, and global HR operations across multi-country teams.
In the earlier years of his career, Ajay built a strong foundation in organizational development, learning, and leadership capability through impactful roles at GlobalLogic, Aricent, IBM, Sapient, and Samtel India Ltd. These formative experiences shaped his expertise in OD, OE, talent management, reward and recognition, global engagement, leadership development, and change management across high-growth technology and engineering environments.
Ajay’s educational background includes an MBA in Human Resource & Organizational Development from the Delhi School of Economics, which strengthened his analytical and strategic HR foundation and helped shape his people-centric leadership approach.
