Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Reliance Industries Limited has announced that Ashish Narain has started a new role as Vice President & Head, Talent Acquisition – Manufacturing, Research & Technology. In this role, he will lead end-to-end hiring strategy and execution for all manufacturing sites and Research & Technology clusters, covering diverse talent areas spanning refining, petrochemicals, polyester, R&D and technical roles across India.
Before stepping into this role, Ashish served as Vice President and Head Rewards – Hydrocarbons at Reliance Industries Limited, leading the Rewards Center of Excellence (CoE) and supporting multiple business groups with scalable, competitive and future-ready compensation practices.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President Human Resources (CHRO’s Office), contributing to strategic HR initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation agendas. Earlier, as Head – HR at the Hoshiarpur Manufacturing Division, he led HR operations for a 900+ workforce, driving capability building, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
Earlier in his career, Ashish held the role of Head Talent Acquisition – Reliability, Engineering & Maintenance, leading hiring strategy and execution for mission-critical engineering and manufacturing domains. His experience also includes responsibilities as Head HR, IR & Admin, and earlier as Lead for Global Mobility, Expatriate and Leadership Compensation, supporting enterprise mobility frameworks and leadership compensation governance.
He began his journey at Reliance as Maintenance Manager, working across Gujarat and Maharashtra before transitioning into HR and talent domains, setting the foundation for a comprehensive talent leadership career.
