City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, December 2025 — Devesh Naidoo has been elevated to Chief Executive Officer: Personal Customer Sub-Segments at FNB South Africa, where he now leads growth, strategy and transformation across key customer groups. His role spans product innovation, customer experience, financial performance and long-term portfolio expansion within one of Africa’s largest and most transformative banking ecosystems.
Most recently, Devesh Naidoo served as Executive Head: Middle Market & Emerging Affluent at FNB South Africa, driving strategic leadership across a high-growth customer base. His work strengthened value propositions, expanded market share and improved financial outcomes across middle-income and emerging-affluent segments through data-driven insights and a sharp customer-centric approach.
Before this, he made a strong mark as Head of Product at FNB South Africa, where he designed and executed product roadmaps that significantly accelerated revenue growth. His leadership contributed to the creation of South Africa’s top-ranked middle-income customer value proposition and delivered sustained profit growth exceeding 10% annually.
Earlier, Devesh Naidoo held the role of Business Development and Delivery Head at FNB South Africa, leading strategic execution across Retail and Private Bank for Core Transactional Banking. He guided multidisciplinary teams of more than 40 professionals, managed a delivery budget of USD 10 million and championed a roadmap that aligned business priorities with enterprise goals.
He also gained foundational product and execution experience as Offshore Banking Product Manager and earlier as Project Manager at FNB South Africa, where he delivered mission-critical initiatives across credit card and transactional banking, strengthening operational agility and customer value delivery.
Prior to joining FNB, Devesh Naidoo began his career as a Business Consultant at BSG, where he worked on large-scale financial services projects across South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia for clients including HSBC, Barclays Africa, Absa and Standard Bank. His early consulting experience built strong capabilities in stakeholder management, process improvement and project delivery.
