Salzburg, Austria, December 2025 — Hansjoerg Tutner has started a new position as Chief People Officer at MACO Group, taking on a critical leadership role to advance the company’s global people strategy, workforce capability development, and organizational transformation across its multi-country operations.
Before joining MACO Group, Hansjoerg Tutner most recently served as Group Vice President Human Resources at ZKW, where he led HR strategy for the organization’s operations across Wieselburg, Austria. During his tenure, he provided strategic direction on talent, workforce planning, and people development, supporting ZKW’s growth as a global lighting systems manufacturer and Tier-1 automotive supplier.
Prior to ZKW, Hansjoerg held multiple senior HR leadership roles over more than seventeen years at Magna International, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers. His most recent assignment at Magna was serving as Vice President HR Projects, where he drove enterprise-wide initiatives supporting global HR modernization, workforce programs, and large-scale organizational projects.
Earlier at Magna, he served as Executive Director Human Resources, responsible for leading HR strategy across multiple business units while shaping key people processes in Europe. His experience also includes serving as Director Human Resources, where he played a pivotal role in implementing HR frameworks, enhancing employee relations, and supporting operations during major transformation phases.
Across his years at Magna Steyr and Magna International, Hansjoerg has built extensive expertise in Human Capital Management, People Management, and HR leadership across complex global manufacturing environments.
