Chicago, Illinois, United States, December 2025 — Lori Fuller has started a new position as Director, Finance Career Advisor at AbbVie. In this role, she will provide leadership across Finance Development Programs, strengthening the pipeline of future-ready finance talent and supporting leaders who drive enduring impact for patients and the business.
In her latest elevation at AbbVie, Lori Fuller steps into the position of Director, Finance Career Advisor after building strong momentum in the company’s talent and leadership ecosystem. With over 6 years at AbbVie, she has steadily expanded her scope across enterprise and function-specific development, with a clear focus on capability building, inclusive succession, and scalable leadership architecture.
Before this move, she served in Executive Learning & Leadership Development at AbbVie for close to 3 years, where she led enterprise-wide executive development strategy and designed innovative, research-backed programs integrating assessments, coaching, learning science, and AI-led solutions. Her work emphasized succession alignment and the advancement of diverse leadership talent across senior levels.
Earlier at AbbVie, she also contributed as a Business Human Resources Partner and as Learning and Development Business Partner, Finance, helping shape workforce planning, culture transformation, and finance-specific talent acceleration. These roles appear to have further strengthened her ability to connect HR strategy with the evolving demands of a complex, global business function.
Prior to joining AbbVie, Lori spent nearly 4 years with Uline, serving as Human Resources, Business Partner – Finance and later Human Resources, Business Partner – Corporate. Across these roles, she supported talent reviews, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives, while also driving engagement and enterprise-aligned capability building.
Her earlier experience includes about 2.5 years with Walgreens in learning and training-focused roles, and over 6 years as a Middle School Science and Math Teacher at East Lake Academy, reflecting a strong foundation in learning design, facilitation, and people development. She holds a Master of Human Resources in Strategic Human Resource / Talent Management from Marquette University.
