Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, December 2025 — Simon Corcoran has been promoted to Principal Director, Strategy & Consulting at Accenture Australia. In this elevated mandate, he will continue to strengthen the firm’s leadership, culture, and inclusion-led consulting impact across the region, bringing together strategy, behavioural insight, executive assessment, and data-backed transformation to help clients unlock measurable shifts in performance and engagement.
Over the last around four years within the broader Accenture ecosystem, Simon Corcoran has built a distinctive footprint across leadership, culture, and inclusion advisory. Most recently, he served as Director, Strategy & Consulting & I&D Practice Lead (APAC) at Accenture Australia, where he led the APAC Leadership & Culture go-to-market strategy and advised Boards and C-suites on leadership strategy, succession, board effectiveness, and culture shifts. His work has also included complex post-merger culture integrations and the design of data-driven gender diversity strategies. In parallel, he has held responsibilities with YSC Consulting, part of Accenture, as Director & Head of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Consulting – Australia/New Zealand, scaling executive-level ID&E solutions across the region.
Prior to joining Accenture, Simon Corcoran spent close to three years with Woolworths Group as Senior Portfolio Change Lead, where he led a major transformation change portfolio spanning multiple business units. His work focused on strategic alignment, operating model innovation, agile practices, and governance frameworks to support enterprise-wide performance and agility.
Earlier, he founded A Human Agency | A-HA!, where he served as Founder & CEO for nearly five years. He built and scaled the consulting business with a focus on organisational design, inclusion, and transformational change, delivering advisory outcomes for leading Australian and global firms before successfully exiting the venture.
Before that, Simon Corcoran spent over six years at PwC Australia, including roles such as Project Delivery & Diversity Lead and Senior Manager. During this phase, he contributed to enterprise transformation across leadership, talent, and diversity, supported executive-level values and inclusion strategies, and helped design large-scale onboarding and employee experience frameworks.
Across his earlier foundation years, he also held roles at AMP in learning and development and began his career with the NSW Department of Education, experiences that contributed to his strong grounding in capability building, behaviour change, and large-system people transformation.
