Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 — Wipro has welcomed Dr. Jai Ganesh as Vice President of Technology. In this role, he brings strong expertise in AI-led transformation, product and platform innovation, and global technology strategy, strengthening Wipro’s leadership bench in next-generation digital and enterprise AI capabilities.
In his new chapter at Wipro, Dr. Jai Ganesh steps into the role of Vice President of Technology, building on a long track record of scaling innovation, incubating AI-first platforms, and delivering enterprise-grade digital solutions across industries.
Before joining Wipro, he served for nearly four years as Chief Product Officer at HARMAN International in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. There, he established and scaled global service lines across AI, Data, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Automation, with full P&L responsibility. He also led global product and solution strategy, delivering scalable AI-first offerings across sectors such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Communications, Healthcare, Retail, and Hospitality.
At HARMAN International, Dr. Jai Ganesh also incubated and commercialised AI/ML-powered platforms and solutions, including enterprise AI services spanning Generative AI, Agentic AI, and MLOps/LLMOps. His leadership reflected a strong focus on building high-performing teams, fostering experimentation, and anchoring innovation in measurable business outcomes.
Earlier, he spent over seven years at Mphasis as Senior Vice President, Head of Research and Innovation in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He led NEXT Labs, shaping market-leading research and innovation across Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Quantum Computing. He also contributed to enterprise technology strategy, global partnerships, talent development, and IP-driven solution development, with multiple awards earned under his leadership.
Dr. Jai Ganesh also held senior technology and innovation roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions for about a year as Director, SMAC Solutions, and spent over a decade at Infosys as Principal Research Scientist in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, where he led advanced research, built IP-driven platforms, and positioned the organization as a thought leader across emerging digital domains.
Dr. Jai Ganesh brings strong academic depth alongside industry leadership. He completed the Chevening Rolls-Royce Science & Innovation Fellowship at the University of Oxford in 2011. He also earned a PhD in Information Systems and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, completing his doctoral journey during 1998–2003.
