Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Jacob John has been appointed as the CEO – Emerging Business at Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL), part of the prestigious Aditya Birla Group. In this pivotal role, Jacob will spearhead the growth and innovation of emerging categories and premium lifestyle offerings across the company’s expanding brand portfolio.
Prior to this role, Jacob John was President – Premium Brands at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. for over five years, where he successfully led the expansion and consolidation of premium fashion labels. His strategic leadership played a key role in elevating the visibility and performance of the group’s marquee brands in a competitive market.
Earlier, he served as the CEO and Managing Director at Modenik Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, an Advent International Company, where he led the transformation of the company’s innerwear and athleisure portfolio, establishing a strong presence in the mass premium segment.
Before that, he was the Deputy CEO – Lifestyle Department Stores at Landmark Group, where he contributed significantly to business growth, customer engagement, and omni-channel innovation across the retail vertical.
Jacob also spent over eight years at Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, part of the Aditya Birla Group, where he held leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and Brand Director – Louis Philippe. His tenure was marked by category growth, brand rejuvenation, and deep customer insight-led brand strategy.
