With over a decade of progressive HR leadership experience, Sarah brings a strong track record of fostering inclusive, high-performing workplaces and aligning people strategies with organizational growth.

Prior to joining Thrive Companies, Sarah served as Head of Human Resources at Hometown, where she led people operations for a tech-enabled platform supporting over 17,000 schools and organizations. Over her five-year tenure at Hometown, Sarah progressed through key leadership roles, including Director of HR and HR Manager, shaping the company’s talent management framework, culture evolution, and employee engagement programs. Her impact extended across performance management, total rewards design, and HR technology implementation, including systems like Workday and Lattice.

Earlier in her career, Sarah held operational leadership roles at Swan Lake Event Center, where she honed her skills in strategic planning and business development. She also served in HR roles at CASTO, a real estate services provider, where she focused on benefits administration, wellness programs, and HRIS management.

Sarah brings a human-centered approach to leadership, grounded in her experience building agile teams, fostering change management, and designing employee-first experiences. At Thrive Companies, she will lead the people strategy across the organization — driving culture, engagement, recruitment, DEIB initiatives, and leadership development as the company continues to grow its footprint in Ohio and beyond.
