Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 — Biocon Biologics has announced the appointment of Deepak Dobriyal as Global Head of Talent & HR Transformation, strengthening the organization’s leadership as it continues to build a future-ready, skill-based, and purpose-driven workforce.
In his new role, Deepak Dobriyal will lead all facets of Talent across the organization, including talent acquisition, talent management and succession planning, performance management, learning, DEIB, ways of working, and HR transformation. He will focus on building a strong talent pipeline for the future, enabling a skill-based learning organization, advancing career development, and delivering an exceptional employee experience while strengthening Biocon Biologics’ employer brand globally.
Prior to joining Biocon Biologics, Deepak Dobriyal spent over a decade with Birlasoft, where he served as Senior Vice President – Global Leader, Talent Management and Corporate HR. In this role, he led global talent management, digital HR, leadership development, M&A integration, performance management, and large-scale HR transformation initiatives across geographies. Earlier at Birlasoft, he held leadership roles including Vice President – Corporate HR and Global Talent Management and Vice President – Corporate HR and Talent Acquisition, overseeing global total rewards, organization effectiveness, internal communications, global performance management, and leadership talent pipelines.
Before Birlasoft, Deepak Dobriyal built deep expertise at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he held multiple leadership roles across talent acquisition, enterprise transformation, HR consulting, and integration management. His responsibilities spanned pan-India talent acquisition leadership, HR transformation programs, large-scale workforce integration following acquisitions, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. He also served as Head – People Practices (BPO), scaling HR systems and leadership pipelines during a high-growth phase.
Earlier in his career, Deepak Dobriyal held HR leadership roles with NCR Corporation, IBM Global Process Services (IBM Daksh), and Newgen Software Technologies, gaining strong foundations in HR business partnering, performance management, compensation, statutory compliance, and corporate HR operations across technology and global services environments.
