Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Shankar Iyer has taken on a new role as Director – Technology at ConvergenSEE Asia, where he will lead technology-led growth and innovation, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge digital solutions aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and to strengthen a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement.
Shankar Iyer brings more than two decades of deep experience across enterprise technology, digital platforms, pre-sales consulting, and large-scale solution deployments. Prior to joining ConvergenSEE Asia, he spent nearly thirteen years with Alfresco (Hyland) as a Technical Solutions Consultant, where he managed technical pre-sales across India, South Asia, and global system integrators, leading enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) solutioning for large organizations.
Earlier, he held multiple leadership roles at IBM, including Sales Leader – Web Experience and Social Business and Deployment Manager / Client Success Leader, where he managed portal and social business portfolios, led enterprise deployments, and worked closely with customers, partners, and labs to drive successful implementation of IBM’s technology portfolio and measurable customer ROI.
Before IBM, Shankar was associated with Multi-Mission Software LLC as Manager – Infrastructure Services, independently heading infrastructure services, managing messaging, information management, storage, and intranet projects across the Middle East. He also served as Head – eBusiness Implementation Services at a web development company, where he led enterprise messaging, security, intranet, and storage implementations, managing end-to-end project delivery and customer engagement.
