Santa Rosa, California, United States, January 2026 — Astound Broadband has announced the appointment of Tracy Brutcher as its Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new role, Tracy will lead the company’s people strategy, organizational development, talent management and culture transformation initiatives as Astound continues to expand its footprint across North America.
Tracy Brutcher has been associated with Astound Broadband and its predecessor organizations for nearly five years. Prior to her current elevation, she served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening workforce strategy, HR analytics, leadership development, retention programs and people integration across mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Astound, Tracy served as Vice President – Human Resources at Wave Broadband, where she guided HR transformation initiatives and supported rapid organizational scaling. Her leadership experience also includes an extensive tenure of over sixteen years at Grande Communications Networks LLC, where she progressed through multiple senior HR leadership roles including Vice President – Human Resources, Director of Human Resources, Senior Manager – People & Culture, and Manager – Total Rewards, building comprehensive people operations, compensation, benefits, leadership development and workforce governance frameworks.
Earlier in her career, Tracy held human resources leadership roles at Trimble Navigation, VertiCom, and Micro Electronic Products, establishing a strong foundation in HR operations, talent development and organizational effectiveness.
