Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, January 2026 – Jessica Shaw has taken on a new leadership mandate as Chief People Officer at LGT Wealth Management Australia, marking a significant elevation in her people leadership journey within the organisation. In this role, she will spearhead the firm’s human capital strategy, talent development frameworks, leadership capability programs, and people governance across its Australian operations, aligning workforce strategy with the firm’s long-term growth and client-centric philosophy.
Jessica Shaw has built nearly six years of impactful leadership at LGT Wealth Management Australia, where she most recently served as Head of Human Resources. During this period, she played a central role in shaping people strategy, strengthening the employee value proposition, driving leadership capability initiatives, and leading enterprise-wide talent management and compensation frameworks that supported the firm’s expansion and organisational maturity.
Prior to LGT, Jessica spent close to four years with Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, where she served as Human Resources Director and earlier as HR Manager. Her tenure was marked by strengthening leadership pipelines, modernising people policies, embedding learning and development structures, and leading workforce transformation initiatives across the Australian business.
Earlier in her career, Jessica held the position of National HR Manager at APP Corporation Pty Ltd, where she led HR strategy, change management programs, industrial relations, and performance frameworks, playing a key role in professionalising HR operations and strengthening governance standards.
She previously spent over four years with CMC Markets as HR Manager – ANZ, where she led HR operations across Australia and New Zealand, supporting senior leadership teams across resourcing, remuneration, compliance, and organisational development initiatives. Her early career also included HR leadership and advisory roles at Retail Cube Pty Ltd and PKF Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers (Australia), building a strong foundation in HR operations, employee relations, and learning and development.
