Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Pushkarni Bhalerao has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Exeltis India, taking charge of the organization’s people, culture, and transformation agenda as the healthcare company accelerates its growth in India.
In her new role, Pushkarni is responsible for shaping a people-first, performance-driven culture that enables business growth and employee success. She partners closely with leadership to ensure that Exeltis India’s people strategy fuels innovation, engagement, and long-term sustainability, while driving HR transformation across talent, rewards, learning, and employee experience, and strengthening governance, compliance, and ethical workplace practices.
Before joining Exeltis India, Pushkarni spent over nine years with Zoetis Inc., where she served as HR Business Partner – India & SEA/SA and earlier as HR Business Partner – India | HR Operations – India & South Asia. In these roles, she led strategic workforce planning, leadership development, engagement transformation, and large-scale HR digital initiatives across multiple geographies including India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. She also played a pivotal role in establishing the Zoetis Global Capability Center in Hyderabad and scaling shared HR services for the region.
Earlier in her career, Pushkarni built strong expertise in HR technology and operations with NCR Corporation, Morgan Stanley, Kelly Services India (PERSOL APAC), Standard Chartered Bank, and P R Consultants, gaining deep experience in HR systems, compliance, talent acquisition, and HR operations across APAC, AMER, and South Asia.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development Management from the University of Mumbai.
