Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, January 2026 — Jennifer Pruett has taken on a new role as Vice President, People Connections at Advocate Health, further strengthening the organisation’s people leadership as it continues to redefine the delivery of equitable, integrated healthcare.
In her new position, Jennifer will focus on strengthening people connections across the organisation, bringing together employee experience, communications, and human resources leadership to support Advocate Health’s mission-driven culture and workforce engagement at scale.
Prior to joining Advocate Health, Jennifer spent over seven years at Cigna, where she most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources. Earlier at Cigna, she held the role of Senior Director, HR Business Partner, partnering closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational priorities.
Before Cigna, Jennifer was with Express Scripts for nearly five years, where she led strategic internal engagement as Senior Director, HR Communications, and earlier as Director, Human Resources Communications, building strong communication frameworks to support large, complex workforces.
Her earlier career includes senior leadership roles in internal communications at FleishmanHillard, where she served as Senior Vice President – Internal Communications, as well as communications leadership roles at The Solae Company and the Girl Scout Council of Greater St. Louis. This blend of communications and HR leadership has been central to Jennifer’s people-centric approach.
