Singapore, January 2026 — Prasoon Dayal has started a new position as Partner & Chief Executive Officer at Academic Capital Partners. In this role, he is responsible for leading the firm’s overall strategy, investment direction, and growth as it builds a dedicated asset management platform focused exclusively on the global K–12 education sector and academic real estate.
In addition to his responsibilities at Academic Capital Partners, Prasoon continues to serve as Chief Investment Officer at Global Schools Holdings, where he oversees global mergers and acquisitions. Based in Singapore, he has been instrumental in supporting the expansion of the Global Schools platform across Asia and the Middle East, with growing reach into the UK, Europe, and the Americas. Academic Capital Partners is sponsored by Global Schools Group, and its mandate is to raise institutional capital to support and accelerate the group’s long-term growth trajectory.
Prasoon brings to the role a multi-decade career across private equity, private credit, and alternative investments. Prior to joining Global Schools Holdings, he held senior leadership positions at ADV Partners Limited, where he served as Partner and Managing Director, and earlier worked with global financial institutions including Nomura International, Morgan Stanley, The Rohatyn Group, J.P. Morgan, and AIG Investment Corporation. His experience spans origination, structuring, portfolio management, and research across multiple asset classes and geographies.
Prasoon holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a B.Tech in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
