Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, January 2026 — Ampol, Australia’s leading transport fuels and energy solutions company, has appointed Anne Das Gupta as Head of Organisation Development, strengthening its enterprise capability, culture, leadership development and workforce transformation agenda across its international operations.
In her new role, Anne Das Gupta will lead Organisation Development across capability, culture, leadership development, talent management, employee experience, DEI, performance enablement and strategic workforce planning, supporting Ampol’s 10,000+ workforce and its growing multi-market operations spanning Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States.
Prior to joining Ampol, Anne served for over five years as Head of Culture, People & Performance at Sydney Water, where she led large-scale culture transformation, workforce planning, performance management and enterprise capability development across one of Australia’s most critical public infrastructure organisations.
She previously held senior transformation and people leadership roles at Allianz Insurance, AMP, and FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia, driving enterprise change, leadership development, people & culture strategies and regional people transformation across Australia and JAPAC markets.
Earlier in her career, Anne built deep organisational effectiveness expertise at Singtel Optus and Westpac, leading organisation effectiveness, business transformation, learning and development, and operational leadership portfolios across major financial services and telecommunications organisations.
