Jakarta, Indonesia, January 2026 – Kapil Arora has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer at Ogilvy Indonesia, marking a new chapter in his distinguished global advertising and brand leadership journey.
Prior to this elevation, Kapil Arora served as Chief Operating Officer at Ogilvy Indonesia, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening operations, driving strategic growth initiatives, and building integrated marketing capabilities across the Indonesian market.
Earlier, he was Co-Chairman and CEO of 82point5 in Mumbai, leading the agency’s transformation into a high-impact strategic and creative powerhouse.
Before that, Kapil spent over fifteen years with Ogilvy India, most recently as President – Ogilvy Group Companies (North), where he led large multi-disciplinary teams across advertising, digital, healthcare, PR, retail, and activation, delivering award-winning work for major national and multinational brands.
He also served as President and Country Head – Team Vodafone within Ogilvy India, steering some of India’s most iconic and celebrated brand campaigns, including the legendary Vodafone Zoozoos and multiple award-winning marketing platforms.
Kapil began his career in brand and business consulting roles at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group) and Enterprise Nexus, and had an earlier creative leadership stint at Ogilvy India as Account Supervisor.
He holds an Executive Certificate in Digital Transformation from the Indian School of Business and a PGDCA in Marketing & Advertising from Mudra Institute of Communications.
