New Delhi, Delhi, India, July 2026 — Rungta Tea Private Limited has recently appointed Sanjay Kumar Bhatia as General Manager — Sales for North India, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The appointment comes as the New Delhi-headquartered tea brand accelerates its regional expansion strategy, with North India identified as a priority growth corridor in its roadmap to achieve 50% turnover growth by 2027.
Mr. Bhatia brings 40 years of experience in the FMCG sector to the role. Most recently serving as Deputy General Manager at Fena Private Limited, he oversaw a North India business of Rs 800 crore, managing a network of 450 distributors and a team of over 300 people. His career spans four decades of building and scaling ground-level sales operations across some of India’s most competitive consumer markets, giving him a depth of trade knowledge and distributor management expertise that is directly aligned with the growth demands of Rungta Tea’s current expansion phase
In his new role, Mr. Bhatia will be responsible for strengthening Rungta Tea’s distribution presence across North India, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, deepening relationships with existing trade partners, and identifying new opportunities for market penetration across the region. His appointment reflects the company’s commitment to building a senior leadership layer that can support the depth and pace of its current expansion phase.
