Leadership Shift at Walmart: Courtney Naudo and Eduardo de la Garza Take On New Roles

Bentonville, Arkansas, United States – Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, announced significant changes to its leadership team, with Courtney Naudo transitioning to a new role as SVP, Business Integration, Revenue for Walmart U.S. and Eduardo de la Garza stepping up as the new Chief People Officer for Walmart International.

Donna Morris, Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer at Walmart, expressed her enthusiasm for the new appointments. “Walmart is a powerhouse of talent thanks to our culture of associate growth on a global scale. Courtney Naudo, who has been with Walmart for nearly five years, held the position of SVP, International Strategic Portfolio Management & Chief People Officer prior to her new assignment. Her career at Walmart has been marked by significant advancements in international strategy and technology development, after a long tenure at Deloitte Consulting as a Principal.

Following Naudo’s transition, Eduardo de la Garza, formerly the Chief People Officer of Mexico & Central America, will assume the role of Chief People Officer for Walmart International. De la Garza brings extensive experience from his time at PepsiCo and his leadership roles within the North American Human Resource Management Association. “In this role, Eduardo will be responsible for driving our people focus areas of growth, well-being, digital and belonging for more than 500,000 associates in our markets around the world,” Morris added.

Eduardo de la Garza’s career includes over three decades of HR leadership, significantly shaping PepsiCo’s HR strategies in Mexico before his tenure at Walmart, where he has been instrumental in leading people strategies and digital transformations.
