Prachi Jha Promoted to Country Brand Manager at Pfizer

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Prachi Jha has been promoted to Country Brand Manager at Pfizer, where she will spearhead two strategic portfolios within the Hospitals Business Unit: the Innovative Portfolio, focused on launch brands delivering cutting-edge therapies, and the Established Portfolio, which manages legacy brands known for consistent value across India. Her role will involve shaping launch readiness, go-to-market strategies, and driving sustainable growth, all while fostering cross-functional alignment and maintaining a strong focus on patient-centricity.

Prior to this appointment, Prachi Jha served as Launch Excellence Manager at Pfizer, where she was instrumental in conceptualizing and executing strategic pathways for new product launches in the Indian market. During her tenure, she successfully led the launch of three novel therapies by enhancing cross-functional collaboration, operational discipline, and patient access frameworks.

Before that, she held the role of Chief of Staff (Portfolio and Commercial Excellence Manager) in the Country President’s Office at Pfizer. In this capacity, she contributed to strategic planning and business insight development, working across multiple domains such as go-to-market strategy, analytics, budgeting, and cross-functional team leadership.

Earlier, she served as Commercial Manager at Pfizer, focusing on project lifecycle management and strategic product development. Her contributions spanned competitive insights, technical solution design, and implementation of data-driven decision-making tools.

Before joining Pfizer, Prachi spent nearly four years at BASF, where she held multiple roles including Digital Marketing Lead, Sustainability Manager, and Technical Product Marketing Lead for the Consumer Industry segment in India. Her expertise in B2B marketing, design thinking, and product strategy was central to her work during this period.

Her early career includes experiences as Product Developer, GROW Management Trainee, and Summer Intern at organizations like Pidilite Industries, Tata Chemicals, and as a volunteer with Teach For India, showcasing a strong foundation in innovation, social impact, and research. She also held student leadership roles, including Curator and Licensee at TEDxICTMumbai and Student Council Member at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
