Pune, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Celoxis has announced the appointment of Sujata Phatak as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), marking a significant step in strengthening the company’s operational leadership amid its high-velocity growth phase. The organization stated that her mandate will focus on Growth, Partnerships, and Business Transformation, translating Celoxis’ strategic vision into operational reality. With over three decades of experience across global technology majors, Sujata brings deep expertise in large-scale transformations and multi-million-dollar business management.
Prior to joining Celoxis, Sujata Phatak served at Persistent Systems as Vice President – Strategic Initiatives, where she led enterprise-wide process transformation and operations improvement programs. Her role centered on driving strategic change, enhancing delivery efficiency, and enabling cross-functional alignment to support the company’s global growth agenda. She was recognized for her structured approach to governance and for institutionalizing performance-oriented operating models.
Before Persistent Systems, she was associated with Capgemini as Senior Director – Engagement Head, where she oversaw complex program and delivery management engagements. In this capacity, she partnered with global clients to strengthen delivery execution, risk management, and client satisfaction while managing large, distributed teams across multiple geographies.
A significant part of her professional journey was with Tech Mahindra, where she spent nearly two decades in progressively senior roles. As Delivery Head – Business Transformation, she drove profitability improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs. Earlier, as Delivery Head – Pre-Sales for Large Deals, she led end-to-end RFP processes, solution integration, and commercial structuring for marquee global opportunities. She also managed large telecom OSS/BSS accounts, handling customer engagement, contract management, and 24×7 delivery operations, establishing herself as a trusted leader in complex technology environments.
In the earlier phase of her career, Sujata Phatak held leadership roles at Cummins Infotech Ltd as Project Manager, driving application development and production support, and at Thermax Limited as Industrial Engineer/Business Analyst, where she transitioned from core engineering to software development and project management—laying the foundation for her cross-domain leadership capabilities.
