San Francisco Bay Area, United States, February 2026 — Five9 has announced the appointment of Amit Mathradas as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, marking a significant leadership transition as the company continues to scale its AI-powered customer experience platform globally.
In his new role, Amit Mathradas will lead Five9’s strategic vision, business growth, and innovation agenda, with a strong focus on accelerating AI-driven CX solutions, expanding enterprise adoption, and strengthening the company’s market leadership in cloud contact center technology.
A seasoned global technology and SaaS leader, Amit Mathradas brings over two decades of experience building and scaling high-growth businesses across enterprise software, payments, and digital commerce. Prior to joining Five9, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Nintex, where he led the company through a period of transformation, innovation, and sustained growth in the process automation and workflow software market.
Before Nintex, Amit was President and Chief Operating Officer at Avalara, where he oversaw global sales, marketing, customer experience, operations, and professional services. During his tenure, Avalara achieved nearly 3x bookings growth, significantly improved margins, and successfully executed a take-private transaction with Vista Equity Partners valued at approximately $8.5 billion.
Earlier in his career, Amit held senior leadership roles at PayPal, where he served as General Manager and Head of Small and Medium Business for North America, managing P&L responsibility for millions of merchants and multi-billion-dollar revenue streams. He also held executive positions at Web.com and spent over a decade at Dell, where he led multiple global businesses and managed billion-dollar P&Ls across small business, consumer, and enterprise segments.
