Stockholm, Sweden, February 2026 — Transcom has announced the appointment of Amit Shankardass as its new Chief Marketing Officer. As a member of Transcom’s Executive Leadership Team, Amit will play a central role in strengthening the company’s go-to-market strategy and ensuring that marketing initiatives translate directly into pipeline growth and measurable revenue outcomes.
Amit Shankardass brings more than 20 years of senior marketing and growth leadership experience across the customer experience (CX) and business process outsourcing (BPO) sector. His career spans the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with a strong focus on disciplined go-to-market execution, demand generation, sales enablement, and performance-driven marketing organisations.
Prior to joining Transcom, Amit most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at VXI Global Solutions in the United States. During his tenure, he was responsible for repositioning the brand, building integrated marketing, sales enablement, and business intelligence functions, and deploying AI-enabled martech platforms to support scalable growth and diversified service offerings.
Before VXI, Amit spent over a decade at Teleperformance, where he held the role of Executive Vice President, Marketing. At Teleperformance, he built the global growth marketing discipline, collaborated closely with sales and account management teams, and helped drive more than $2 billion in incremental new business revenue over ten years. He also pioneered account-based marketing initiatives and led the creation of the company’s first Technology Innovation Experience Center in Silicon Valley.
Earlier in his career, Amit served as Chief Marketing Officer at Alorica, where he led integrated marketing and go-to-market strategies for a $1B+ organisation, earning industry recognition including placement on the Gartner Magic Quadrant. He previously spent more than a decade at Sitel as Chief Global Marketing Officer, playing a key role in scaling the company from $275 million to over $1.7 billion in revenue through organic growth and M&A across global markets.
In his new role at Transcom, Amit Shankardass will focus on sharpening the company’s market positioning, enhancing demand generation and sales enablement capabilities, and ensuring that marketing execution delivers clear commercial impact across Transcom’s global client base.
