Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Thiess has appointed Shipra Sharma as Head of People – Capability Hubs. She has assumed the role in February 2026, marking a new chapter in her leadership journey in people and organizational development.
In her new position at Thiess, Sharma will lead the people strategy for Capability Hubs, focusing on strengthening organizational effectiveness, talent development, and workforce capability aligned with the company’s global operations across mining and energy sectors.
Prior to joining Thiess, Sharma spent over nine years at Amdocs, most recently serving as OD Practice Lead (OD & TM), where she led organization development and talent management initiatives. Earlier at Amdocs, she worked as HR Business Partner & OD, supporting business transformation, leadership capability building, and strategic HR interventions.
She also held the role of HR Team Lead at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), contributing to HR strategy and stakeholder management within a leading global consulting firm.
Earlier in her career, Sharma held leadership roles in recruitment and consulting, including positions at Planman Consulting, WNS Global Services, and HuRes Capital, building strong expertise in talent acquisition, HR strategy, and business partnering.
With extensive experience across organizational development, talent management, and HR leadership, Sharma brings a strategic and people-centric approach to support Thiess’ commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.
