Mauritius, February 2026 – Aspen Global Incorporated – Mauritius has appointed Jonathan Wienand as Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone for the organization.
The announcement was shared by Samer Kassem, CEO and Board Member at Aspen Global, who highlighted Jonathan’s steady leadership and collaborative approach over the past five years. As a trusted finance leader within the business, Jonathan has played a critical role in driving complex initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and aligning teams around strategic priorities. His appointment reflects the confidence placed in his ability to build on strong foundations while advancing Aspen Global’s next phase of growth.
Jonathan has been part of Aspen Global for over five years, most recently serving as Head of Finance. Prior to that, he led financial planning and analysis initiatives within the organization, contributing significantly to financial governance, reporting integrity, and operational efficiency across international markets.
Before joining Aspen Global, Jonathan spent over six years with British American Tobacco, where he held senior finance leadership roles across East & Southern Africa, Zimbabwe, the Americas, and the UK. As Senior Reporting Finance Manager – East & Southern Africa, he oversaw group management and statutory reporting, strengthened SOx controls, and enhanced planning and reporting processes. He also led finance stabilization efforts in volatile economic environments and supported global transformation initiatives, including SAP implementations and hyperinflation reporting models aligned with IAS29.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan held finance leadership positions at Marks and Spencer and NCP, building strong foundations in financial reporting, commercial finance, and governance.
With extensive international finance experience spanning multinational environments, regulatory frameworks, and complex reporting structures, Jonathan is well positioned to steer Aspen Global’s financial strategy and governance agenda in the years ahead.
